Cupping Therapy Massage

August 10, 2017

It is believed that cupping therapy dates back to 3000 BC and was used by the Egyptians. This is an ancient technique which is still used today because of its many therapeutic benefits.

1) Do you have tight muscles, tension or pain in your neck or back?  Thai cupping is an excellent treatment for pain, swelling, knots, & breaking up scar tissue.

2) Do you suffer from depression or SAD? Cupping may assist in relieving symptoms of depression and gently helps the system come back into balance.

3) Would you like to boost your immune system and detox? With cupping, dead cellular debris, poisons, stagnation and excess fluids are drawn to the surface which can then be eliminated by the lymphatic system. Increasing lymphatic output increases the immune system’s ability to detoxify the body and respond to stressors put onto it from disease, chemicals, stress and electromagnetic fields.

How does it work? Fire is used to evacuate the oxygen from specially designed glass cups. These cups are then placed on the body, creating a suction with drains the area allowing space between body layers, increasing circulation and thereby nourishing muscles and channels.
