Sick? When to reschedule your massage or Reiki session

Updated: May 5

It's that time of year again when we are more prone to picking up cold and flu viruses. So, you're not feeling well. When should you reschedule your massage or Reiki session? Here are a few easy to follow rules to prevent spreading germs to others.

1) Temperature of 100+: You should be temperature free for at least 24hours before coming in for a session. If it's been less than 24 hours since you had a temperature of 100 degrees or more, then you need to reschedule your appt to prevent the spread of germs to others.

2) Severe cough: If you have a cough that produces mucus or phlegm, or that causes labored breathing it is best to reschedule your appointment and wait until the cough reduces to a dry cough.

3) Sore throat: If you have a sore throat that makes it painful to swallow or speak then reschedule your appointment until the symptoms subside.

4) Vomiting or Diarrhea: Reschedule your appointment if you've had either of these symptoms within the last 24hours.

If you are feeling under the weather, and fit within any of these guidelines, please contact us via text, phone or email, at least 24hours prior to your appointment to avoid the $50 cancellation fee. We commit to you to also, contact you if we are feeling under the weather to ensure we don't spread any germs to you as well. Wishing you health!
