Thai Massage

Thai Massage is performed on the client while they are fully clothed. The Thai massage therapist uses their palms, thumbs, elbows, knees and feet to compress muscles, release the fascia, stimulate acupressure points, and stretch the body allowing it to relax, open, and decompress. Thai Massage is an ancient healing practice that restores balance, relieves pain and encourages health and vitality. Thai Massage is a very deep tissue massage and is NOT recommended for those who prefer light pressure such as Swedish massage.

Table Thai

This Thai Massage session is performed on a massage table, instead of on the floor. This is a perfect session for clients who have difficulty getting onto the floor or getting up from the floor. This session is performed on the client while they are fully clothed. Thai Massage is a very deep tissue massage and is NOT recommended for those who prefer light pressure such as Swedish massage.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Relax with this deeply healing treatment. MLD can give you a boost in energy levels, improves sleep and strengthens the immunes system. It is beneficial in treating autoimmune diseases, post-traumatic edema/sports injuries, migraines, fibromyalgia, post-surgical swelling, and lymphedema. MLD activates the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting relaxation and detoxification of the skin and superficial fascia. This is a very gentle and light rhythmic touch that opens up the superficial lymphatic vessels to aid the body in moving interstitial fluid to the lymph nodes so it can be cleansed before returning to the circulatory system. No lotion or oil is used in this treatment.

Fire Cupping w/Massage

Relieve pain & tension with Cupping therapy. Cupping therapy is an ancient technique, to assist in reducing pain, releasing tight muscles, increasing lymphatic output, as well as improving the immune system’s ability to detoxify the body. Fire is used to evacuate oxygen from the glass cups before they are placed on the body creating a suction. This pulls toxins to the surface as well as cellular debris, poisons, stagnation and excess fluids. These are then eliminated by the lymphatic system. Also excellent for releasing and letting go of excess fire (anger), wind (anxiety), & water (depression) from the body. The cupping marks will darken within the first 24 hours and then will fade within the next 2 weeks following the treatment, depending on the severity of toxins and what was released.

Massage w/Scraping or IASTM

Scraping or IASTM (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization) is an effective treatment for reducing anxiety and pain, breaking up adhesions & scar tissue, releasing knots & trigger points, increasing circulation and improving range of motion. A tool is pulled across the skin repeatedly, relaxing the fascia and muscle tissues, pulling toxins and stagnant blood to the surface to be released from the body and reducing pain. Also assists with releasing difficult emotions and past traumas from the body. A light pink to fuchsia color called petechiae will appear (the darker the color the more sha or stagnant energy released.) The color will darken within the first 24 hours and then lighten and go away completely withing 2 weeks.
