Each session is customized to meet the individual needs of the client.

What can I expect in a Thai Massage session? During a Thai massage the practitioner uses their hands, elbows, knees and feet to compress muscles, release tense points and to gently stretch the body allowing it to relax, open and literally decompress. The Thai method traces and clears ten energy lines, which run along the fascia, covering all muscle groups and organs, reaching the major body systems. Thai Massage also activates the Parasympathetic Nervous System: which immediately lowers your sense of stress, brings health benefits like reducing blood pressure and strengthening the immune system, and lifts your mood.

What should I wear to a Thai massage session? Please wear or bring a long sleeve shirt and long pants (yoga/athletic) that will allow for ease of movement.

What will I experience in a Thai massage session? Though active for the practitioner, a Thai Massage is completely passive for the client. Thai bodywork is practiced on a heated mat designed for comfort. Fort total ease, the client remains fully clothed. The practitioner compresses muscles releasing fascia and takes each limb through a series of stretches to increase range of motion and realign the body. Thai massage is one of the deepest forms of massage and is not recommended for those who prefer light to medium pressure. The pressure level typically is deep to deeper.

How will I feel after the session? After a Thai massage session, clients tend to feel as if they have been given a new body, one that is more limber, open and more alive. It is a true full body tune-up. This work is also effective for treating specific neuromuscular injuries, including muscle pain, spasm, dysfunction and chronic tightness.
